Church Treasurer Alert: CEP now accepts electronic giving

frequency-icon.gifWe are pleased to announce that churches are now able to support the ministry of CEP by use of the ACH (Automated Clearing House) for funds transfer.  Church treasurers may choose to have funds drafted from the church's bank account(s), at no addtional cost to the church, and establish giving frequencies that meet the giving pattern desired by the church leadership.

A Case Statement for PCA Christian Eduation and Publications

casestmt-why.jpgIt is in mastering the rigors of Reformed theology that Christians learn to use their minds, and develop a logical framework for their faith. Asking and answering pre-suppositional, conceptual and integrative questions about all areas of truth.  CEP's ministry is specifically targeted to help leaders, teachers and officers build on this firm foundation.

Mission Statement for PCA CEP

cepbluelogo.gifApproved Mission Statement for PCA Christian Education and Publications.  CEP is a permanent committee established by the Presbyterian Church in America General Assembly in 1973.

The History of PCA Christian Education and Publications

cepbluelogo.gifWhen the Presbyterian Church in America was established, Christian Education and Publications was one of the first three program committees put into place. Christian education is a God ordained covenantal process and the denomination established CEP to lead, nurture, and instruct its people.  From the May/June 1998 Equip for Ministry magazine.

Assembly Approves CEP's Askings

In order to do the programs and develop the training and resources assigned by the General Assembly over the years, CEP needs $7.00 per communicant member to fund those programs. The General Assembly has approved CEP’s “ministry ask” of $7.00 per member in 2008. Full participation in support would allow CEP to carry out all of its assignments.

Supporting CEP through Planned Giving
