Can We Wait Any Longer?

By Frank Brock. Developing the Christian mind begins with knowledge of the Bible, but it does not end there. At Covenant we believe that good education is the best preparation for a good job. More important than getting a good job is knowing how to do a job well. For this reason Covenant is extremely rigorous compared tomost other colleges, especially the large public universities.

Mission Accomplished? When? How?

By Sidney Anderson. You just don’t wake up one morning in a village of the Tiv Tribe of Nigeria by accident! It was the fulfillment of years of planning and waiting for the Lord’s leading. The numbers are not the main category, but have you ever been to a Christian event attended by 30,000 people? I have. It is breathtaking! God, who gave the unique miracle and revelation of the star to these Gentiles, also gave the comprehension of what it indicated. What about you? Are you following the light that you have?

‘Preparing the Ground’

By Mary Lou Bonsack. We were able to do something that prepared the ground for the planting of the Gospel and to communicate the love of God in Christ. The people knew we were there because we loved Jesus Christ and desired to meet their needs. As a result many came to the nightly meetings and heard the Gospel. The first night ten people indicated they wanted to know more about Jesus Christ.

How to Deal with Those Who Differ - Part 2

By Roger R. Nicole. When we are sure that our outward approach is proper, we need secondly to safeguard the inward benefits of controversy. We need to ask the question, "What can I learn from those who differ from me?" It is not censurable selfishness to seek to gain maximum benefits from any situation that we encounter.

How to Deal with Those Who Differ from Us - Part 1

By Roger R. Nicole. We disagree in some areas of Christian doctrine. We disagree as to some of the details of church administration. We disagree as to the way in which certain tasks of the church should be pursued. Who does not encounter from time to time people who are not in complete agreement; therefore, it is good to seek to discover certain basic principles whereby we may relate to those who differ from us.

Missions Have Come Home to America

By Terry Gyger. Of the four and one-half million Hispanics in Los Angeles, less than one-half of one percent are evangelical. This means that most Latin cities have more believers than exist in Hispanic Los Angeles.
